Born in Athens in 1945. He studied painting at the .Athens School of Fine Arts (1963-1968) and received an MA from the Munich Academy of Fine Arts under a scholarship from the German state(1971-1976). He has been a founding member of the “New Greek Realists” group as well as of the Centre for Painting. He also participated in Munich’s artistic group 10/9 (1975). He was invited at DAAD (1977), an arts program in West Berlin. From 1977 to 1986 he lives and works in Berlin. From 1986 to 1992 he lives and works in Brussels. In 1994 he becomes elected professor at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He has exhibited in Greece and abroad.
