Born in Kumning, China, in 1963. He studied Painting at the Sitchuan Academy of Fine Arts as well as at the Central Academy of Fine Arts of Peking. He has exhibited in many cities in China, Europe and Chicago. He is a Professor at Yunnan Art Academy. He lives and works in Kunming.
