Mastichiadis Fotis
Born in Aivali, Asia Minor, 1913. He was a student of Fotis Kontoglou in drawing, while also studying chromolithography. He was mainly an engraver and in 1942 specialised in intaglio engraving banknotes for the Bank of Greece. Furthermore, he worked as a cartoonist and designer in various newspapers and magazines in Athens and Thessaloniki. He presented his work in many solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, while works are in several public and private collections. He passed away in Athens in 1997.
