Born in Athens in 1953. She studied sculpture, mosaic and fresco at the Athens School of Fine Arts from 1972-1978 under Y. Pappas, K.Kolefas and K. Xinopoulos. In 1978 she attended courses at the Universita degli Studi in Milan and later, from 1983-1986 after receiving a scholarship from IKY she completed her postgraduate studies in London
