Williams Nicholas Charles
British painter and draughtsman whose works examine aspects of human behaviour, conveyed through symbolism and direct observational painting. Solo shows include the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum, Bournemouth; Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro and Liverpool Cathedral for the European Capital of Culture. In 2001 he was awarded the Hunting Art Prize and in 2008 shortlisted for the Threadneedle Art Prize. Williams lives and works in Cornwall, South West England.
