She was born in 1948 in Tehran, Iran. She has studied painting in Manchester, UK with Ron Baskerville and at the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Aachen. She has a master’s degree in art history, archeology and anthropology from the University of Cologne. She has been working as a freelance artist since 1980 and she has had numerous solo and group exhibitions. She lives and works in Remscheid-Lennep, Germany.
