Born in 1925 in Athens. Self-tought, he traveled, to Europe and the USA, later resided in Paris. In 1958 he started experimenting with magnetic fields, which were to consist a vital part of his art. In 1960 the French Ministry of Culture awarded him with a patent on his ”Telesculpture” and ”Telesculpture Electromagnetique”. In 1964, his initiative for the construction of the Center of Arts and Sciences started at Gerovouno. He is considered one of the pioneer artists of the international art scene and a major representative of Kinetic Art. Deceased in 2019.
