Born in Drama, Greece in 1946. He studied Painting and Mosaic at the Athens School of Fine Arts and continued his studies at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-arts in Paris. Since 1984 he has been a Professor at the Athens School of Fine Arts. He has exhibited in many Greek cities and has represented Greece in the 17th Bienniale in Sao Paolo in Brazil in 1983, as well as in EXPO ’92 in Seville. In 1996 he was elected Dean at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Lives and works in Athens.
