Born in Ohio, U.S.A in 1932. He studied at New York’s Cooper Union Institute and at Vienna’s Academy of Fine Art. He has exhibited in the world’s most important art centres. He was a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the Royal Academy of Arts. He died in 2007.
