He was born in Tripoli in 1960. From 1978 to 1981 he studied sculpture and marble at the School of Fine Arts of Tinos under the teacher G. Maniatakos. He continued his studies in Athens, where he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts with teachers G. Moralis and D. Mytaras and graduated with honors (1981-1987). At the same time, he attended the mosaic workshop with teacher G. Kolefas. He lives and works in Athens.
