He was born in Komotini in 1960. He studied painting in the Athens School of Fine Arts, under professors T. Patraskidis and P.Tetsis. He then continued his studies at the Academy of Liberal Arts in the Hague (1991-1994) under scholarship by IKY and the Dutch State. Since 2005, he works in the educational programms of the National Gallery in Athens.
